Night and Fog

Night and Fog was mostly similar to Shindler's List. They showed almost the same footage of the Ghettos, the concentration camps, and the assassinations of the Jews. This film was very powerful It was made during the Holocaust and it was an original film. Shindlers list and Night and Fog had mostly the same parts. I found the documentary to be more effective than the hollywood version because it was all about facts. the hollywood version had a few parts that did not really happen during the holocaust.

Schindler's List

In Schindler's List, it showed how the Jews were treated in the Holocaust. It showed how they were taken to ghettos that were perimitered by large block walls with barbed wire. The ghettos were made to isolate the Jews so they can die from starvation or spread of diseases between each other. It showed how the Jews were used for free labor to build buildings and artillery for the Nazi's. It showed how the Nazis had no sympathy for the Jews. They would get murdered for the slightest mistake they made such as looking at a Nazi soldier in the wrong way to confronting them. I found the parts of the Jews getting assassinated to be stuck in my head. "Night and Fog" was a more powerful video for me.
